Nasty Idols is one of the oldest glam/sleazemetal bands from Sweden. They were formed in the summer of 1987 by vocalist Andy Pierce and bassist Dick Qwarfort. In 1989 they released their debut album and since then, they have inspired a lot of other glam/sleaze bands. Nasty Idols decided to split up in 1995, but were re-united in 2006 for the Sweden Rock Festival and are now ready with their fifth album "Boys Town".
Nasty Idols new album Boys Town is after just a few times in the player absolutely worth to get your hands on. Their sometimes very raw and sleazy style could sound like Crashdiet and Vains of Jenna. This album also contains a couple of more laid back songs like "Nite like This" and "It ain't Easy", songs that could easily become big hits on particularly the swedish hit lists. The rest of the songs are pretty good too and there is actually not a bad song on the album. This is one of those albums that will typically just get better and better the more you listen to it.
All in all Nasty Idols have succeeded making a really good album after a 10 year break from each other.
